The scalpel (cold steel knife) is commonly used and is still the gold standard for surgical incisions. Newer technology has created electrosurgical units. Now the surgical laser is taking the place of these conventional devices.

The DVL-15 diode laser with the Chisel-type Metal Probe allows you to perform faster, cleaner incisions with minimal bleeding. In addition, the incision is far less destructive than cryosurgery or electrosurgery.
