We had a trial treatment to a canine mast cell tumor on the neck of 10-year-old female Siberian Husky. She had a previous operation to a mast cell tumor, 5 cm in diameter, on the right thigh three months ago.

We had a kind of a trial treatment to canine mast cell tumor on the neck of 10 year-old female Siberian Husky.She has had operation to mast cell tumor, 5 cm in diameter, on the right thigh 3 months ago. Firstly we medicated antihystamic agent for 3 days in order to identify the border of the tumor. Secondly we stained the tumor by ICG. Finally Laser was shot on the stained tumor including margin.The tumor was dried, shrank and was covered by the scar 11 days after. Twenty-four days after she recovered well. The tumor has not come back again till now.

First, we medicated an antihystamic agent for three days in order to identify the border of the tumor. Second, we stained the tumor by ICG . Finally, the laser was aimed at the stained tumor, including the margin.

The tumor was dried, shrunk and was covered by the scar 11 days after the operation. Twenty-four days after the operation, she had recovered well. The tumor has not come back again to this date.
